I met up with another photographer last night, and he showed me this little waterfall. It's very close to a road, but you can't see it at all when you drive by. I wonder how many people have passed this spot, and have no idea this is even there.

You are probably one of the few lucky ones. I love the 2nd shot.

Thanks Mike and Scott. Number 2 is my favorite as well. I will be going back to this spot soon. We were there for a couple hours, and I only took 25 exposures. We spent most of the time talking about photography, instead of taking pics. Now that I know where it is, I can go solo and really explore. There are lots of photos in this place just waiting to be captured. There is also and old cabin just behind where I was standing when taking these photos. I may have to break out some B&W film for that. Look for more images from this place in another week or two.

I agree with others that the second one is the best of the group. I think the third one has potential, too...with the right lighting condition shooting the little water fall from that perspective.

Thanks Sue and AE. As far as lighting goes, I think this is about as good as it's gonna get. The tree canopy is pretty thick, and not much light gets through. I will go back again in the fall once the leave start to change and see what that brings.
