    1st attempt at macro

    Hi, bought a set of screw on close up lenses for my kit lens. Cost me £4 off of fleabay. They seem pretty good for the money to be honest. What do you think?

    Darn good for a first try.
    I like #2 and #6 best.
    #1 is nice too, though a bit soft.
    Looks like you got your moneys worth......
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

    Very nice! I like #1, #4, and #6 with #1 being my favorite due to the lighting (the softness works for this particular shot IMO). I would suggest boosting the contrast a bit.

    Nice compositions on all.

    Goes to show that good results don't necessarily require expensive equipment.
