    103 shots

to get exactly one shot I had in mind.

Saw this couple over the weekend and noticed that they were coming up for air in roughly the same spot about every minute. The sky had about 70% patchy cloud cover and the wind was breezy and inconsistent.

Tried high vantage point, low vantage point with the light going from direct sunlight to heavy overcast about every 3 minutes while the wind was changing every 5 minutes or so while the frogs were going up and down... timing was pure luck.

I didn't know if I even got the shot until I got home. I was too burned out to care at the time

In particular, I was looking for that combination of wave pattern and reflection to go with the mood of the frogs. Hope it worked.

    Mission accomplished, no?

The softness of the water makes this photo look intimate. You added a human characteristic to frogs. Well done.

I think it was well worth the effort you put into it Loupey. I really like the soft, almost abstract feel to the image. Well done.
