My son turns 10 years old next week and for months I have been pondering over how we should celebrate his birthday. Now this was obviously a very difficult task as the age group of his friends ranges from 5 to 15 years old. Naturally I began my research with the internet and stumbled upon a great resource that has given me a lot of choices for themed party supplies. Now the only problem I am left with is whether to order Pokemon Party Supplies or Yo Gabba Gabba Party Supplies.
I have a Cannon Rebel T1i. I have had a camera in my hands since I was 6 and my parents bought me my first "real" camera when I was 11. I became much more serious about photography a few years ago. So I started taking classes and would buy 1 lens until I perfected the use of it and then buy another (or kits, filters, ect). I do not have one type of subject I like to shoot. I like Children, Nature, Bodyscape, Maternity, Pin up, Boudoir, you get the idea. I do prefer to shoot with natural lighting but I try to shoot anything anywhere so I can learn more. I love feedback both good and bad because how else can I learn?
My regular Pentax SLR P3. Nothing spectacular but reliable.
I studied photography at Parson's School of Design in New York City. Although I went into advertising, I still do commercial photography work. Some recent clients have been Canada Post, the Yellow Pages, the Ottawa International Tulip Festival and numerous travel, social and photography magazines.
