Before deciding to focus exclusively on bankruptcy matters, Mr. Egozcue’s former practice areas included international tax-transfer pricing, intellectual property, and federal government contracting matters. Before starting his own law firm, Mr. Egozcue worked at Ernst & Young’s Detroit, Michigan office where he had a variety of local, national and multinational clients headquartered in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and upstate New York. During that time, many of Mr. Egozcue’s former clients were under bankruptcy protection and in need of advice and assistance with their international tax matters and, when appropriate, to help reorganize their supply-chain structure.
After leaving Ernst & Young, Mr. Egozcue worked at Esterline Control & Communications Systems – Korry where he provided assistance to the company to help ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations that govern federal government contracting.
