Question Anti Spam Would Spelling Out, Work?

On my website I use a script that is supposed to be an anti spam coding. I think it works, but I still get spam!
I was wondering if I spelled it out, mtbbrian at mtbbrian dot com, and have the link be to it, would that work better?
What are some other ways to thwart the evil spammers?

that or (because the robots know how to collect it even if you do it that way), make it and image and create the link. More and more robots are being trained to beat how people do it, it is a continuous merry go round with trying to protect your email address. Forms are another way of doing it as well, but that can get a little complicated.

    Thanks Peter.
Aren't there forms that you can just cut and paste into your coding?

There are Brian but sometimes depending on the way the website is setup, you need permission's setup to parse the form over and that is where things start to go arye often.
