    Working space for 20D

I've calibrated my monitor with a ColorVision Spyder2, so when I'm working in Photoshop, I convert my images to my current monitor profile, rather than using US Prepress - Adobe RGB (1998). (I guess I'm using my calibrated monitor properly in this way - "what I see is what I get" on my R1800.)

My 20D has two possible working space settings - sRGB and Adobe RGB. One of my photo instructors told me that he uses Adobe RGB as the working space on his 20D because he said it's a larger color space.

Should I use Adobe RGB on my 20D, but is it then correct to use my custom monitor profile, which I assume loads my custom working space for Photoshop?

    Thanks.

Adobe RGB is a larger color space than sRGB, and it has a lot of fans. If you make all of your own prints on the R1800, then there's no problem with using it. If you send out any to any labs, then check with them first - chances are that they will work in sRGB and you'll have to convert it to that first (for best results, anyway).
