    Who makes the best enlargements?

So I want to enlarge a few of my digital photos from somewhere online. Anywhere from 16 x 20-ish to poster size. I have never enlarged any of my digitals before, just film shots long ago.

Please recommend who does a good job and how do I know if my images will look as good that large on paper? Glossy? Matte?
    Here's a couple I'm thinking of doing.

(I can't decide which Heron shot I like best. Which one do you like?)

I use www.mpix.com for my prints. They do a great job, and the price is good. They don't offer a true glossy paper if that's what you want though. I don't like glossy prints, so it's not a problem for me. They do offer a metallic paper that I really like when used on the right photo. Not a paper I would print everything on, but for the right image, it really makes it stand out.

adaramapix and White House Custom Color also do a very nice job.

A vote for White House Custom Color (whcc.com). I've had a few 16 X 24's printed there, and I was very pleased. They do printing for many professionals.

Re: your herons, I'd do the second one. It's a bit sharper and I prefer full body.
