Please let us know your workflow - this is the term used to describe how you handle your digital images from camera to final product. For example, after shooting I take the memory card out of my camera, put it into a USB2 card reader and make a new file in my PC with the date and description of the images. Then I go to My Computer, select all the images on the card and then COPY (not move) the images to that new folder. From there, I remove the card from the reader (using the disconnect feature in Win XP first), put it back in the camera and format the card (actually I format the card just before I use it again, that way I have another backup copy at least for a short time). I haven't had any problems doing it this way but there are several ways to do this and they all should work.
Okie uhm.. lol. I took some pictures, plugged it in to the USB then into my camera. A window comes up and asks if I want to copy the files to a new folder or do several other things with them and I pick copy to new folder. Then a window comes up and.. well.. Here's a picture.

In the second picture it shows a lot of weird files.. I only took 2 pictures and only 2 show up in the camera.
Something that might have something to do with it that I haven't thought of until now is that my USB ports aren't high-speed.. I don't know if that is or isn't something that would affect it but it has affected other things before..
