I am at college and every spring semester we have a big concert or show called Springfest. This year we are going to have two bands playing, but the bands are not what my main question is about. I am toying with the idea to make a time lapse video of setup, the show, and then breakdown and making the video part of the promotional material for our on campus organization. I have all the equipment I need to be able to do this. The thing I am not sure about is the length of the final movie, and that is what Im basing the timing between photos off of. Last year it took about 20 hours from the start of setup to finally hitting the lights and leaving the next morning. I had a feeling a movie with a length of about 1 min would be enough to see enough detail of whats happening while not being too long as to loose the interest of whoever is watching it. Does anyone have any thoughts on what would be a good length for something like this? Or suggestions beyond that, Im open to any thoughts about this.
