    speedlights for nikon d50

I'm looking to buy an sb-600 flash for my d50, but I heard somewhere that they weren't compatible to the d50 with the connecting cord? anyone use one?

I use my D70 with the Sb-600 all the time with & without a cord. It possibly could depend on which cable you use.

    Re: speedlights for nikon d50

I think I got the older SC-29 (or whatever the cord is called)

I've been thinking about this topic since I posted my reply, and I've realized since I got the SB-800 flash to go with my SB-600s (because of the Commander Mode) I haven't used my cord at all, unless my flash is on a bracket.
