    SmartDisk - FlashTrax XT Portable

I found today that they upgraded the flashtrax model from the original one I wanted to buy. I have been thinking about a storage device for my photos when I travel. I'd like to get the SmartDisk FlashTrax http://www.ritzcamera.com/webapp/wcs...uctId=13335057 It is a simple device that copies images from a CF card to the drive. The link to the review when i search for it is broken. I wanted to know if anyone has something like this and is it a worthly investment.

Thanks for letting me know about the broken review link. It's up on PCPhotoREVIEW.com but apparently there's something wrong here. I'll check it out. In the meantime, here's a link to the review page on PCPhotoREVIEW.com (same content): http://www.pcphotoreview.com/cat/dig...0_4309crx.aspx

Re: SmartDisk - FlashTrax XT Portable

thanks. it seems like a good investment especially since they upgraded the device recently. i soley want to use it as backup and nothing more. Kim Komando recommended it while listening to her show over the summer. http://www.komando.com/ Her show is really informative from computers to digital cameras.
