    Question Sigma 15-30 or 12-24?

    Hello,
I need help about desicion to purschase Sigma 15-30 or 12-24 mm zoom for Fuji S2Pro. I have tried 15-30 and I'm conscious about distorzion and other stuff. But I don't know anything about 12-24. Does anybody have some advice? I don't bother too much about light strength of the lenses, its weight and autofocus speed. Mostly I'm interested about image quality.
    Thank you very much

    P.S. BTW, does 12-24 cover full-frame 35mm film?

    Ciao

I've got an S2 as well and been thinking about these or the Nikon 12-24. I guess it depends on what you shoot - the Nikon is supposed to be a little sharper and have a little less distortion but probably won't make a difference unless you plan to shoot architecture with it. It also can be used with 77mm filters where the Sigma 12-24 can't. Also constant f4 instead of variable aperture if that's a concern. But, it costs more too.

One big advantage of the Sigma is that it works full frame with 35mm cameras. That's a 12mm lens on your 35mm SLR - amazing. I haven't made up my mind yet but am personally leaning towards the Nikon.

Thank you very much, Penny and Another view. After this photos and information I think I'll decide for 12-24.
    Best to you
