sigma 1.4x TC on canon 70-200mm

will this combo work? I can't think of any reason why it won't, but I just want to be sure before buying one. I have the canon 70-200mm right now because of the paper, but when they want it back I am going to buy a sigma 70-200. so I'd rather get the 1.4x sigma TC, but just want to know whether it will work on the canon. Any strange reason why it won't?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I know the Canon TC's only work with specific lenses, but that is because the front part of the TC extends into the back or the lens. If the inside of the lens isn't set far enuf in, it won't work. That's the way the Canon 2xTC is anyway.

I don't see anyting on the Sigma 1.4x that would cause any problems like that. I would still check it out at a camera store if you have one close to you.
