    Question Shooting faces

    Hello!
I'll be travelling to the western US -Arizona/Colorado .... lots of cowboys wearing big hats, lots of dark Native skin colour.

I use a Nikon D70 with my macro lens. Most all will be candid rather than studio shots.

I'm grateful for any tips and/or suggestions.

    Thank you for your time.

You need a zoom lens I'm guessing in the range of 100mm and up. I think the further you are from a subject the less uncomfortable you will make them feel in a candid situation.

Did you have a specific question?

If you are shooting in close be sure to use fill flash as those hats throw a lot of shadows over the faces.
