It wasn't until I had transferred my pics, reformatted my memory card and shot some more that I realized a couple of my photos had been corrupted during the transfer. It's one of those instances where the bottom portion of a file looks like an off-colored screen has been laid overtop the image (or, if we we're talking commerical CMYK printing, it's like a couple of the plates were missing).

Since it's extremely unlikely I'll be able to recover the orignal file from my memory card, I'm hoping I can salvage this picture. It's not a stunner but it does look good in b/w. It would be a fairly important part of a set of b/w prints I plan to frame for around the house. Anyone have advice for how to repair this?
