Rugged digital camera with remote control

    Hello all!
I am new here at this forum.
I have been looking around for a rugged, (rain and drop proof) digital camera with remote control. Great if it can take video clips too. Ido not need super high resolution...4-8Mpixels is good enough...A good zoom would help though.....
I could also concider a rugged camcorder with good photo shot capability.

Is there anyone out there that can advice me on such a camera??

    Best Regards

Olympus and Pentax both make rugged water resistant cameras but I don't think either has a remote.

I agree. Olympus makes some real rugged ones in the SW line. Some in that line can survive extreme temps, a drop from up to 5 feet, and even underwater to 33 feet (although I'd half that to be safe).

Olympus E3 with 12-60 swd and remote.

Tough as nails, extremely water resistant, price dropping like a rock.
