    Cool rob

    please help, i own a kodak dx6340, usually a great camera, this camera is only 3 months old, To-day i went to turn it on, fully charged batteries, and bingo no response, i tried another set of batteries, and still no response at all, any ideas ? please, my next move will be to take my beloved camera back to the store from which i bought it, thanks all.

    And that would be a good idea. I take it you did put the batteries in the right way around, I know that sounds too obvious, but it has happened I am sure to many of us at one stage or another.

    Question

    Hi peter, thanks for your reply, and yes, if there is more than one way to insert the batteries into my camera i have tried it beleive me, as i have not damaged the camera by way of dropping it, my next thought is a soft where glitz. thanks again, rob.

    Sounds more likely an electrical malfunction to me. With software glitch it would probably still boot up in some way, and then turn off again.
