Reducing or stopping shutter noise

Hello guys, I just found this place today. I need some help badly.

I am looking to take pictures while I am filming a model. I have a model 15 feet away from the camera as I take pictures, the camcorder is 5 feet away and there is a boom with a mircophone to reduce outside noises.

It seems that evern though I am so far away the camcorder picks up the camera noise when I take a picture. Its not the electrical noise, just the actual camera noise when you click the button. The camera I am using is a Nikon D2xs SLR.

Can anyone think of a way I can take pictures while I film as it is absaloutely essential for me on my time.

put a lot of padding around it?

Sorry I can't be of help, but I know that when my camera is in my remote housing I can't hear it at all when I am 15 feet away from it. That's where my padding suggestion comes from.

The people I know who shoot that way use music thats appropriate for the shoot to cover up the sound of the shutter.

I remember seeing/hearing/reading about a "blimp" that was basically a big padded housing for shooting on movie sets. They're probably about as rare as left handed monkey wrenches though...
