    Prinz Tripods?

Has anyone ever heard of Prinz or Prinz Stabilo Tripods. A google search didn't find much. I was about to leave out to ritz, penn camera, etc. to check out tripods and was set on getting one in the $70-100 range when my mom told me that one of her friend's was looking to get rid of one for free just to get rid of clutter. He swang by and dropped off this tripod. It seems pretty sturdy but has a cheap feeling to it but I guess it will work for now. Just wondering if anyone has tried one. Tag reads Prinz Stabilo 430/75 Japan/525

If the tripod is easy to set up and is stable then it's a keeper. But to you what is a cheap feeling. Are you going by weight or something else?

    Money back guarantee?

Try it and see how it works. If it isn't as sturdy as you need, pass it on to someone else. The name sounds familiar from years ago, like Promaster I'm thinking - basically a store brand. But that doesn't necessarily mean there's anything wrong with it.
