photoshop brush sizes

Hello,
Does anyone know why I cannot see the size of my brush on the screen. I set my brush to a medium size however only the cursir shows on screen. When I begin to paint the brush paints at the coorrect width but no circle shows , just the cursir pointer.
help will be appreciated.

I had this same issue a while back - found out through a thread here like this that the CAPS LOCK key toggles the brush circle or the brush crosshair. Try that and see if that is your issue.
