overlaying photos?

I am trying to overlay seven photos on top of each other in PS Elements 5.0. I get the base layer ok and the second ok but from there nothing seems to work? :mad2:
Does anyone have any suggestions?

erase all but the critical part of the image, and just move it accordingly on the base layer. That's what I do at least. If you take the images the right way originally it can be done very quickly in PS.
