does D70 Have a shutter?

Does the D70 Have An actual shutter, or does it turn the sensor on and off to make the exposure?
This comes from a discussion i have had with Jcphoto, who referred me to a link with the nikonians, and they cant seem to agree.

Yes, of course it does. If you are so brave just lift the mirror with a Q-tip and you will see it. All true Dslr's have actual shutters.

At this link you will see a picture of the D70 without a lens. Now you won't actually see the shutter here, but you will read the words, "Below you can see a shot of the D70's lens mount / mirror chamber with the mirror down and with the mirror up and shutter open exposing the six megapixel CCD sensor"
