Nikon AF 85mm f/1.4D IF Lens

I have been thinking of making this lens my "final" purchase. I now find that B&H lists both the USA and Imported versions as "out-of-stock/back ordered." Is there something going on with this lens that I don't know about?

Final purchase? I've said that too!

I haven't heard of any changes with this lens. I've had it for about a year and a half and haven't regretted it in the least; it's an excellent lens. I wish it had a twist-in bayonet hood so it would be easier to carry (rather than putting the hood in a different pocket of the camera bag) but it's not a big deal.

I opted for the USA version but I don't think there's anywhere near as much that can go wrong with a prime lens as, say a zoom lens with VR. I don't think the price difference was much, that's why I did it.
