News on futre Nikon D800 if any

First of all " HELLO " to the community (it is my first posting I hope you will forgive me and my errors)
I would like to know news on the annuced nikon D800
actually I 'm an happy user of D300 but I will have a great interest for 24x36 .

No news.

The French press have been saying recently that packing too many pixels into a sensor is not a good idea. My guess is that one day Nikon will put the new 12Mpix sensor from the D3S into the D700 body (a sort of D700S). The D700 was announced 9 months after the D3 so if they do the same thing with a new body that would mean it would be announced - quite soon.
