Newbie needing help with first photo contest

I'm hoping someone here can help me out here. I'm a first timer entering some photos at the county fair and need some advice on mounting my pictures. The rules state that the pictures must be permanently mounted but suggest not using double sided tape or spray adhesive as they tend to not hold up in the humidity of the un-airconditioned building. Any suggestions (that don't cost too much) would be most appreciated!

I've had great success with mounting tissue. It helps to have a heat press but I've done it with a clothes iron as well. That stuff will hold through anything and everything.

Light Impressions carries all kinds of things but you might also find things locally - they're a good seller, but have never been known as "fast" (although I haven't ordered from them in a couple of years). Get an idea of what's available from their site, such as mounting corners but they are attached with a very sticky double-sided tape.

You can always use the 3M photo adhesive or 3M 77 but that is not a photo adhesive. Dry mount tissue is good but for large photos a heat press is really needed as using an clothing iron can cause winkles if you are not careful.

3M also made a presser sensitive dry mount tissue for photo mounting for use with a roller press.
