    Question need camera help

ok so I want/need a new camera and I have no idea what camera is a good fit for me. Currently I have pink polaroid i733. It does ok, but the pictures aren't as clear as some of my friends pictures. The one thing I want is what my husband says is a fast shutter speed? But then there is something about shutter lag or something. I have 2 toddlers and I want a camera that can take rapid shots, so that I can capture them in mid air when then jump on a trampoline or into a pool or something. My current camera doesn't do that very well, none of the shots are clear. I really don't know what it is I'm looking for, or what to call it. I just want to get that cool shot of them jumping into the water, but they are still mid air, ya know? I want it small and compact, easy to use, and pink if I can get a color lol.

Please let me know your recommendations.

oh and I'd love it to have AA batteries, rather than chargable ones, because I always forget to charge my batteries and want to just use double a's.

    Welcome to the fourm...

What kind of price range are you looking at?

Once that is answered I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

Sorry I'm not much help in the point and shoot area.

One thing that was mentioned in another thread, is it possible for you to go to a store with a memory card to try the cameras out it see how the are. Then go home and view the pictures taken on your computer to see which you like the best. You should also go to the store to see how they fit in your hands before you purchase anyway.

Most PS cameras will not be of much help to you, not in that price range. Even with a DSLR you can have problems getting good photos of children!

The man problem is the shutter delay and small flash that the small PS camera have. As batteries go, unless you find a used camera most camera's now us rechargeable batteries, and they are not a standard size either.
