My samsung L730 wont stay on!

I bought this cam like 3 weeks ago, I used it until like a week ago, then picked it up again today to upload some pictures, the cam will stay on for about a second then tunr off. the shutter wont even open. The light will just go on a second then turn off immediately. I've tried turning it on while charging or uploading and the same thing happens. I have no idea what's going on..

First off Welcome to the forum,
I first guess is that the battery is completely dead and you have to let it get a decent charge before you can do anything. Try charging the camera for an hour then try again to turn it on and upload the pictures, while still charging if needed.

Yeah I just figured that out haha. I let it charge for like 5 mins and it turned on fine, so Ill just let it charge. Newbie mistake I guess haha. Any ideas why the battery sat? It was full a week ago, and I didnt even touch it this whole week.

No problem...
Remember the battery is still loosing it's charge even if you are not using it. Some say to take the battery out if you are not going to use the camera for awhile. Plus the time that you did use it before it sat, you have to take that into consideration.
Just look at the battery indicator from time to time while you are using it. If it is getting low and you know that you are not going to use it for awhile then charge it and then let it sit. So the next time that you pick it up you will have a good charge and not loose any moments that you wanted.
