Is my L-358 meter not working properly??

    Or it is user error??
I have it in Flash C mode. My ISO matches my camera.
For some reason I cannot change my SS on the meter.
But anyways, I just chose 100 which is shown on the meter, hooked it up to my AB and fired it. And it gave me the aperature. OK, I get it,
but I don't want to use 1/100. I want to try something else. the manual says that I should just be able to turn my dial and choose a different shutter speed.
Not the case. I can turn for hours and it doesn't change.
    What's up?

    Thanks,
    Aaron

    Found answer by searching google.

"Electronic JOG WHEEL Lock and Unlock:

Hold MODE key in. Toggle ISO 1 key to lock or unlock. ?LOc? will display briefly."

Sounds like the jog wheel is just locked?

Just remember that your manual will state the fastest shutter speed you can use for flash. Faster than that the film plane shutter becomes a slit and part or parts of the film frame will be covered by the shutter curten.

Yeah, it sounds like user error.

There is a way to lock the controls (some of them anyway) on this meter which is handy so that you don't accidentally change something. The manual is - or at least has been - on their website. I don't have mine in front of me but the manual will cover it.
