Sorry, can't answer your question. However, I think you need a little patience. Forums are generally a little dead on weekends. Unlike me, most people have real lives on weekends. Trust me, eventually you'll get an intelligent answer.

    Re: Memory Stick PRO Duo

hi there,i have the sony h5 camera and i have the the pro duo 4 gb card in my camera, now keep in mind that not all camera's have the same capacity,i contacted sony and asked for the maximum card size for the h5 and the 4gb is the max, and your h2 is a older model, you might only get away with the 2 gb card but check with sony first before buying the card, could save you a few bucks there, you might even get two 2 gb cheaper than one 4gb. both types of cards you mentioned will not write any faster from your camera but perhaps if you take the card and place into a reader perhaps with the high speed magic gate would definetly transfer faster,- i was standing in a store recently and the saleman was trying to sell a lady a 8 gb card for her camera, and the poor soul most likely doesn't realize that once you open the package and find out the the card is too big to work you can not return it back to the store, its open software, non refundable.its funny how sony makes camera's with card size limits and yet the sony psp thats been out now for years is a unlimited memory size capacity, funny how that works. hope i helped out abit.

There is something else you may want to think about. If you only have one card and it goes bad, they you are out of luck.
Plus when I use my 4 gig card, I tend to shoot more and compose less.

I would reinforce what rovowen said. You should have at least 2 memory cards. There are too many stories on this forum and others of a card going bad and without a backup, you are out in the woods without a camera. I have a 4 gb and a 2 gb I use for backup. I haven't had to use it yet, but there is that good feeling that you have it with you if anything happens to the 4 gb. Also, if by some chance, I fill up the 4 gb, then I can simply put the 2 in and continue on. HTH

    Cheers,
