    Manually setting AF point?

How exactly do you do this with the Rebel XT? I read you just hold down the AF button on the back of the camera and and turn the dial. But it doesnt seem to be working.

Also, where is the AE lock button?

    Re: Manually setting AF point?

Nevermind, I just figured out both.

To manually set AF point, press and hold the zoom in button on the back of the camera.

The AE lock button is the zoom out button on the back of the camera.
