If the canon AF lens can work with rebel XTI ?

I am wondering if the Rebel XTI "400D" or any canon D-EOS will accept the 35mm auto focus lens of the EOS 35mm body or not..?
    Thanks for your help, Michel

Yes - any Canon EF auto focus lens will work with any of the Canon digital SLR bodies, including the Digital Rebel XTi. Canon makes EF-S lenses that are made for the 1.6x digital format only, though. Those lenses are compatible with the EOS 20D, Rebel XT, Rebel XTi, and the EOS 30D. They will not work with any of the Canon EOS 35mm SLR bodies, the professional EOS 1D-Series cameras, or the EOS 5D.

Do you have Canon auto focus lenses you'd like to use with the Digital Rebel XTi? I have that camera and am using lenses I've had since I owned a Canon EOS A2E (EOS 5). It's no problem at all.
