Help With Nikon D90 Blurry Pictures

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and would like some advice. I'm taking pictures of flowers and the coloring is beautiful but upclose they are fuzzy not crisp. I am taking them in Macro. Any advice will be valuable. I'm trying to add photos but don't know how to do it.When I click on ad image It keeps asking for an http address? Don't really know what that means. Thanks again in advance

the "macro" setting on the camera doesn't allow you to get closer then your lens allows, it just adjusts for iso, shutter, and probably some of the sharpness settings. you may want to use a tripod, and you definitely want to make sure your diopter is adjusted. that's the little dial by the eye piece. if you're shooting in manual focus, then what's in focus to you may not be in focus to the camera.

To ad photos use the go advanced tab below and then click the paper clip at top.
Make sure they are no larger than 800 on a side and quality may need adjusting for web.
Besides what the counsel said, what format are you shooting in? You should be using raw or jpeg fine.
    Keep Shooting!

Re: Help With Nikon D90 Blurry Pictures

Both photos are macro-photography type shots. The is a problem as the distance range that is in focus is very small, and if you are closer than the lens can focus not even a part of the image will be in focus. If you are going to do macro-photography you need a tripod, unless it's a bright sunny day the exposure will be longer causing burr from camera movement.

If your lens will not give the framing you wish, you will have to purchase close up tubes or bellows, cheaper than purchasing a new lens or a new lens which can do macro-photography and give you 1:1 or 1:2 ratios. Note the longer the lens is the more lens to subject distance you will have, but the longer lens will be slower.
