Help with film artifacts - strange spots on 35mm film

    Hello,

I hope someone may know what is causing these odd spots on my developed film. I used a Fred Meyer store photo department to develop the film. They are always in the same location on the photo, and seem consistent in size as well. I am using a Canon Elan 100 series 35mm film camera with a Quantaray 28-90mm f/3.5 lens and Fuji 400 ASA film.

Photos are posted in my user gallery link. Thanks!

The makes look like clip marks from developing the film. But you said that it was 35mm film, did you scanned the prints? As I do not see the sprocket holes of the negative. Have you checked the negative?

As far as developing film I would not use Fred Meyers if it was a paying job, I would use Blue Moon or Pro-Photo, lastly Ritz at Jantzen Beach before Fred Meyer or Walmat.
