    Hc-110

Now that Kodak is getting out of the blackand white film and paper market, has eany one heard whether or not they will continue their chemical line particularly HC-110?

    Re: Hc-110

I can only guess, like anyone else. I'll bet that D-76 is around for many years but some of the more obscure developers won't make it for too many more years. HC110 has it's fans but I never got a chance to use it myself. I wonder if HC110 outlasts TMax developer or vice-versa. Time will tell...

I doubt you'll run out of options in the forseeable future, but those options might become limited. They discontinued their paper line and it would make sense to discontinue the chemicals for this too (maybe they already have). But they still have several B&W films in production so I'll bet they keep film developers going.

I recently received a reply from Kodak. They are only discontinuing their B&W and color. paper line. But not their film or chemical line. However like all businesses it will be subject to review.
