    green color in still pictures

    I have a hp digital camera R717, which I.m using for last five years.
    All the still pictures I take have lot of green color and when I zoom the image it shows a no. of horizontal lines. Pls help me to overcome this problem. Is it bcoz of incorrect settings or hardware prob?

    It would help if you would post an example. This site will host your photo for you just click the upload photos link below the text window. 293k and 800 on the long side are the limits.

    Five years is pretty long for a digital camera. It sounds to me like the CCD is starting to fail. About that time, many camera companies that use SONY CCD chips experienced faulty CCDs and your camera may have one that's finally starting to fail. If your camera does have one of these, then I'd recommend contacting them to see if a recall has been announced. They should repair it for free.
