I'm currently awaiting delivery of my first lighting kit (a pair of Britek PS-200 monolights, with the stands and umbrellas, and a few backdrops).
I have an older Gossen Ascor Mark-II flash meter, which I've never figured out because I can't find a manual for it anywhere. Am seriously considering just setting it aside, in favor of a modern digital meter that can handle everything - flash, incident, reflected, etc.
Based on my research so far, I am strongly favoring the Sekonic L-358 as such a 'do it all' meter -- and at $219 from B&H, it just is within budget.
Would be interested in hearing from anyone who has experience with these - or with a comparably priced & featured competitor that I may have overlooked.
