Couple questions regarding the Nikon F3

Hello, Seasons Greetings!

I recently recieved a Nikon F3 setup and have a couple questions about it:

1. I can't seem to find how to change the ISO!?

2. I'm looking for a HP prism for the body, it has a DE-2(standard) prism already but I wear glasses so the HP would be ideal. Where could I find one of these besides ebay and craigslist?(currently ebay or craigslist does not have the HP prism listed)

Regarding the F3, there should be a dial at on the top of the camera with different numbers like 64, 80, 100, 200, 400 etc. I believe it's on the right hand side. If I recall correctly, you pull up on the dial and then turn it. It's been awhile since I've had an F3. The Nikon F3 is one fine camera. Many, many years ago I bought a used one for about $450. Then, a number of years ago I sold it on Ebay for about $175. I see now, someone just bought a used one off Ebay, in excellent shape for just $72. Amazing.

Re: Question 2. Shop around at real genuine photography shops, not a box store. There is a good chance that someone will have one on a shelf gathering dust. May be attached to a body, but hey, for the price film stuff goes for these days it will be cheap.

P.S. Unless you really like shooting at 1/60th of a second, make sure you have extra batteries on hand. Nikon had a real brain f@#$ when they built the F3. If the batteries die the only shutter speed you have is 1/60th. Personally I was less than enthused about the F3 when it came out. That is why I still have an F and several F2 bodies in several of the configurations. Just couldn't wear the things out. Have fun shooting film.

Try KEH, they are a very reputable vendor of used equipment, grade their stuff very conservatively, and have a good return policy. They usually have a good amount of nikon manual focus gear.

I know what you mean, but it is always that one time, never see it again in your lifetime shot that them little boggers die on.
