i'm new, so bear with me
i have a nikon coolpix 3100. as you might have heard, the battery life sucks. nikon recommends using a NiMH battery. using this type of battery, i get about 10 pics per charge while using the LCD. i was reading on another digital camera forum that CRV3 lithium batteries are much better because they don't lose their voltage until the battery is drained, whereas the NiMH battery loses voltage about halfway through the battery's charge. is this true? is it worth spending money on a rechargable CRV3 battery?
i've read that everyone with the camera has similar problems with the battery life.
