color &bw negatives to slides

I am trying to put together a portfolio for college and am wondering if there is anyway to take color or bw negatives and transfer them to slide format so that I can send them in to be part of my portfolio.

several, if you have the luxury of a copy stand use that and simply photograph them. if not then using a good tripod and a good macro lens in open shade simply photograph them to slide film. there are several types of slides film that are designed for copy work, ask a good camera store (they are not commonly stocked anywhere)
