Any EX series flash is a good one, and that one should work well with the D60. However if you are looking to save $$ you can use something like a Sunpak 433D with a Canon shoe, they work nicely and I use one as a backup or on occasion on my old 1D if I need flash on it too.
I only paid $55 for the 433D too. Alot less than the almost $400 my 580EX cost.
