Isn't that an SLR? Since the viewfinder (on SLRs) views through the lens, I didn't think there was a way to view "live" on the LCD. I asked a similar question to a store clerk a long time ago, and I believe that was the answer I got. But what do I know... I only use a P&S with an electronic viewfinder ('cuz I can't afford an SLR!) so I could be all wet... If such a thing is possible, I, too, would like to know which models have that capability.

    LCD View is for wussies!

    Use the viewfinder.

    To answer your question, No.

Welcome to the Forum Ruthiep. There are a couple DSLR's on the market that do have "live view" but the XTi isn't one of them. I think Olympus makes one or two models with live view.
