Can You Delete an (accidental) duplicate post?

    OK, dumb question time.

I had posted a response in the Critique section to a thread (entitled "BW Snow"), and when I posted, I got a message telling me that I had to wait at least 30 seconds in between posts. (I had posted a response to another thread, and could swear it had been longer than 30 seconds.) So, after another 30 seconds I posted my response, only to see TWO duplicate posts! I could not see anywhere to click on the "edit" section to delete the second duplicate post. I know I look like an idiot for posting the same thing twice. How can I save my self-esteem and get rid of that second post?

Sorry for the stupid move and question.

If that's true, I should be one of the most dangerous people on earth.

    Fixed!

For accountability reasons, only mods and admin can actually remove posts.

That 30 second message is an error that happens periodically. I'm not actually sure what causes it but it doesn't usually happen. Sorry about that.

Until a mod or an admin can deal with the duplicate, you could always cut the text out of the offending posts. Then drop a mention to the mod of the section you posted to.
    It's not about the camera....

Thanks, guys. I'll be a little more careful and deliberate with my posts in the future!
