The photo below is posted not for its content but to show the border at the bottom that is appearing on some of my photos lately, most are ok,but 1 in 7 or 8 are the same as this, with the border of varying depths ....as Im new here, now hoping I can load up the sample pic
Looks like there's something seriously wrong with the camera. Try contacting their customer service dept, you'll need to send it in for repair but try to find out a cost estimate before to see if it's worth fixing.
That border is prodcuced by a corrupted JPEG file.
The prublem is finding out hte cause of hte problem.
Either the camera, or thememory card, or the computer, or the wire linking it all together.
Do you switch off the camera after taking photos?
Could you have switched it off before it's finidhed writing the image to the card?
Or maybe there is a bettery/camera fault that turns it off while writing occasionally?
I phoned the HP helpline and was directed to the site posted below,it seems that they are well aware of this problem and on the site publish a couple of workrounds for it,its worth a look for anyone interested to add to your knowledge bank .....thanks to everyone for your inputs to this question .....
