    A Camera Like This?

I want to buy a camera like this for my photography obsessed friend who recently had hers stolen =/ I can only spend up to $300, so anything below that price would be fantastic.

I'm a beginner when it comes to cameras, so bare with me here. I was looking around the internet for a camera like this:

10+MP, high ISO, 5x+ optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and face detection. HD video, and preferrably a large LCD.

I really dont know what most of that stuff actually means, i was just asking around what makes a good digital camera and these all popped up.

Please, if anyone knows any cameras along these lines, could you could link to a review or something? Thanks ^^

    EDIT: I found this - Fuji F100FD
Is this any good? Its more expensive that i was looking for but from what i can see, it looks really nice.

Ditto the Canon G9. It's a bit over your budget though.
