    ahh

    im shooting my first quincenera tomorrow, im pretty confident, but anyone have any last tips?

    heres the real question, stupid me left my compact flash in my pants pocket, and you guessed it, it got washed in the washing maching. the tough little thing still works, but should i trust it with the quincenera? what do you all think?

    It should still work, I've heard stories of people washing them and the card working fine (My teacher did it for fun on an old card to test it).

    Personally, for something like this (sounds like a paid gig?) CF cards are cheap enough, I'd pick up one or two more for the event, then take the washed one out a different day and go shooting with it to make sure it works fine.

    If the card decides to fail on you, better shooting your own stuff than someone elses.

    I think it will be fine.......BUT - get a new one even if it's smaller because you never know. Don't trust something important to a laundered card.

    I'm with the other two. Get a new one, and keep the old one as a back up. From what I have read, I'm sure the old one is going to be fine, but I wouldn't risk a paid job, on a suspect card.
