should I try to sell or keep my 35 mm ?

I have an Olympus OMG camera. I have multiple lenses that I got for it ( including a 500mm lens ! ) I'm wondering if I should see what I could get for it or just put it away and play with it again. I do like the digital camera ( I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ 8) less bad pictures but I am debating.
    Any suggestions ?

Sandy you may want to check out some place like KEH. they are a very reputable seller of used equipment. You can get an idea of what your equipment is worth and than you can make a more informed decision. If you have only the one film camera I would think it would be a good idea to hang onto it, you never know when you may want to wonder into the world of film again. For my money I hung on to my film stuff, just was not going to get enough out of it to make it attractive to me.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks for the info. I have debated on selling or keeping. I may hold on to it a while longer.

    Sandy,

I guess it depends on whether you need the money or not. If not, then I would hang on to it. Digital and film are different enough that I like to use both. However, if you choose to sell it, I agree with Larry about KEH. They are very fair in their pricing and probably the most hassle free way to sell, but they won't buy just anything. You'll have to check with them to see what they want..on the phone or on the "sell your gear" section of their website. Another way to find out how much it's worth is to go search around ebay, find items like yours, put them in your "Watch" list, and go back when the auctions are over to see how much it all sold for. I always do that for a week or two before I sell anything.

    Hi Sandy, welcome to PR

OM-Gs are a dime a dozen and will not bring much at all, maybe $50 at BEST for the body. Any value in the system will be in the lenses. The Zuikos can still bring OKAY prices but, off brand lenses are virtually worthless unless you have some rare/obscure lens. I have an OM-G system as well and they're fun little cameras. Don't sell it. Get yourself some film and go out shooting
