    Rollei Prego 140 problem

My wife has a Rollei Prego which has to date provided faultless service and excellent photos. Recently it refuses to release the shutter and advance the film. We managed to rewind the parially used film ok and the photos were fine. It loaded a cheap new film OK but the problem persists it won't release the shutter and wind on. It is a great little camera and would like to get it going again if possible. Does anyone have any ideas on whether this is an easy fix for a camera technician? Any recommendations for a repairer in Australia?

Tough to say how easy of a fix it would be. Could be any number of things. Given the price of film cameras vs. the price of repair, you would probably be better off just tracking down a good used one than sending this in for repair.
