    One semester of film

Hey all. I've kind of disappeared of the face of the earth lately. But good news. I've gotten a bunch of film scanned from this semester of photography. This was the first film class I've taken, and I've fallen head over heels for B&W film. The stuff is incredible. Anyway, there's too much to upload here, but I've got all here. It's all the stuff from the beginning of the gallery down to "Phone Booth".

Yep, we've been doing prints since early on. We've only been doing scanning for the last couple weeks though, so this is the first stuff I've managed to get up. But printing has been awesome. I must say that I have fallen quite in love with B&W film.

Your pictures are so much crisper than mine are in my B&W class....Why is this? What film are you using?

    Very nice photos BTW

Mmm...Guinness.. Nice work, WC. It's always good to hear about another person falling for B&W film. Are these negative scans or print scans? They look great.

It's probably just because they're such small versions for the web. And I think I applied sharpening to all of them in Photoshop. And all of the films are listed in the descriptions. I've shot everything from ISO 50 to ISO 3200 this semester.

These are all scanned negatives. We have some really nice film scanners that I'm trying to take advantage of while I'm here. And then they've all had some PS work done on them. But nothing weird. It's all work that could be done in the darkroom as well.

Try the link again. Deviantart kind of sucks a lot sometimes, and it won't load the images.

I'm hoping to start up my own website this summer so I can get away from all of that.
