    My new Favorite color film...

Kodak Ektar. Blues to die for. Mid day shots never looked so smooth...LOL
If you haven't tried it. Get some. Soon
    I didn't use any filters. I shot this with a Voigtlander 15mm

I have a friend who loves the new Ektar film. He shoots MF with it and gets great scans from it. From what I have seen of a few of his prints he has made with it, it appears to be almost grainless.

I love Ektar. I have a roll of it left in 35mm format and 5 in 120. Can't wait to try out the 120 format.

I also have an old roll of Ektar 25 in 120 format...

That's a cool shot, Greg. Love the color and I love the vignette from that 15mm. Ektar looks like great stuff. I put it on my Christmas list this year and got four rolls of 35mm and a pro-pack of 120. The pro-pack was an accident, but I'll use it in the Holga. I can't wait to give it a try. Maybe this weekend.

I would love to try some 120 but I sold my Mamiya. Like a dummy... I just got so frustrated at trying to get it developed. The turn around time was almost two weeks so I sold out.

Yes I love the blue of it also... E100vs shot with my RZ67, 110mm 2.8. I'm lucky enough to have a local lab that can have my film developed and scanned and back to me in three days, and for only $9.50 a roll.

Get a Pentax 645! (if you can get the 645n), a friend of mine sold off his RZ67 for a Pentax 645n (because I got one...it's funny I got my 645 because of his Medium Format RZ67)

Feed the ducks and fish. That's about all. A 3 foot two inch catfish was caught last week. I posted the shot in View Finder.

I just posted some shot using Ektar. I've fallen for it! I order some enlargements the same day I got my proofs.

I just tried Kodak Ektar about a week ago. Landscapes and architecture turned out pretty good, but peoples' faces are excessively red. I know it is not a portraiture film, but still I would prefer to look a bit less reddish

If you want good skintones, you'll want the Portra series of films. The new Portra 400 and 160 rock the skintones.

    Portra 400

    Portra 160

And the nice thing about both these films is that you can drastically over and under expose them without compensating during development. So you can shoot Portra 160 and 100 without any fear. I've shot Portra 400 up to 1600, and get some very punchy contrasty shots out it.
